Terms of use
Last updated: 3 October 2026 · These terms cover this website and the DVRK Shot extension. They are the terms of service Polish law requires for services provided by electronic means (art. 8 of the Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means). Buying a Pro licence is covered by the licence terms as well.
1. Who provides these services
Marcin Majchrzyk (DVRK Agency), ul. Św. Kingi 29/7, 41-500 Chorzów, [email protected]. See the legal notice. We provide this website and the extension. Payment is handled by Polar Software Inc. as the merchant of record, so the purchase contract for a Pro licence is concluded with Polar under its own terms.
2. What we provide
- This website, including the changelog and everything written on it.
- The free version of DVRK Shot in the Chrome Web Store, and the once-a-day version check made by copies installed from a zip before the store version existed.
- The contact form on this site and Report a problem inside the extension.
- The Pro licence check, which runs through Polar.
All of these are free. The only thing you pay for is the Pro licence itself.
3. What you need
A computer with internet access running Windows or macOS, and Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera in version 116 or newer. The extension is installed from the Chrome Web Store (or, for the zip version, from a folder on your own computer) and needs no account. The contact form needs JavaScript switched on.
4. How to use them
Use the site and the extension lawfully. Don't send unlawful content through the forms, don't try to disrupt or overload the site, and don't capture pages you have no right to capture. You are responsible for what you photograph and record. We may refuse or delete an unlawful message, and block an address that floods the forms.
5. When a contract starts and ends
- Opening the site or downloading the free version starts a free contract that ends the moment you stop using it or delete the extension. No notice, no cost, nothing to cancel.
- Sending a message through a form starts a one-off contract that ends when the matter is settled.
- A Pro licence is bought from Polar. When that contract starts, and your right to withdraw from it, are set out in Polar's terms and in our licence terms.
6. Complaints
Write to [email protected] or use the contact page. Tell us what went wrong, which version you are on and how to reach you. We answer within 14 days. If the complaint is about a payment, a refund or an invoice, Polar handles it as the seller. Write to us anyway and we will pass it on.
7. If you are a consumer
Nothing here limits your statutory rights. You can also settle a dispute out of court: through a permanent consumer arbitration court at the Trade Inspection, through a municipal or district consumer ombudsman, or through a consumer organisation. Both sides have to agree to it, and it is free or very cheap.
8. Personal data
What we collect and why is in the privacy policy. In short: screenshots and recordings never leave your computer, and we only hold what you send us yourself.
9. Changes
We may change these terms, for example when a feature is added. The version published here is the one that applies. For a paid licence, the licence terms in force on the day you bought it apply to you. If a change affects a service you are already using, we publish it here at least 14 days before it takes effect.
10. Law
Polish law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country still apply, and you can bring a claim before the courts there.
