What the extension does with web pages

DVRK Shot takes screenshots and recordings entirely in your browser. Pages, screenshots, recordings, history and logs are stored only on your computer. Nothing is sent to us, and the extension contains no analytics or tracking.

Licence check and update check

To confirm a Pro licence, the extension sends your licence key and a browser label (for example "Chrome · Windows") to Polar (polar.sh), our payment and licensing provider, at most every few days. Once a day it also downloads a small version file from shot.dvrk.agency to tell you about updates; like any web request, this reveals your IP address to the server, and we don't log or use it.

Purchases

Polar sells the licence as merchant of record and processes payment and billing data under its own privacy policy. We receive from Polar your email address, name, country and order details.

Why we use your data

To deliver and support your licence (performance of the contract) and to email you about updates to the product you bought (legitimate interest). Newsletters or offers only if you opt in.

How long

For as long as your licence is active, and afterwards as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Who else sees it

Polar and its payment processors. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own safeguards.

Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability — email us. You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).

Logs you send us

If you send a log or report from Settings → Logs, it may contain the addresses of pages you captured. We use it only to fix the problem and delete it afterwards.
